Responsible for the efficient installation of architectural demountable modular wall systems within customer's facilities while ensuring timely completion of the work and a high degree of customer satisfaction.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Basic Product Handling

Loading and unloading of product

  • Proper use and care of sheetrock carts
  • Proper use and care of 4-wheelers
  • Proper use and care of hand truck
  • Proper use and care of pallet jack

Uncartoning of product

  • Proper use of razor blade knife
  • Proper care and handling of product

Staging of product as trained and directed by lead

  • Proper protection techniques of surfaces such as floors, walls, elevators, doorways.
  • Understanding of staging strategies
    • Stage product without damage to product or building

Garbage and cardboard removal

  • Proper separation of materials on job site
  • Trash/cardboard taken to proper locations


  1. Construction
  • Basic carpentry skills (reading of tape measure; proper cutting techniques)
  • Experience in framing
  • Ability to use and read a laser level
  • Competent and accurate operation of tools (chop saw, portable band saw, roto hammer, sawzall)
  • Glazing experience
  1. Cleaning and Detailing Furniture

Cleaning materials

  • Use proper cleaning materials for wood products, laminates, fabrics, metals, plexiglass, plastic and glass

Vacuuming and dusting

  • Proper care and use of vacuum cleaners


  1. Basic Installation Techniques
    • Accurately install demountable walls and trim
    • Ability to read and understand space plans
    • Ability to use correct tool for each application


  1. Basic Warehouse Procedures


  • Understand and maintain warehouse procedures

Driver's rack

  • Proper use of furniture pads
  • Proper manner in which to fold and store pads
  • Proper maintenance and upkeep of driver's rack


  • Drives vehicles safely day and night, including box trucks up to 26'
  • Follows vehicle maintenance procedures



  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Minimum 1 year basic construction experience;
  • Possession of valid Washington State Driver's License with superior driving record; ability to drive and operate company vehicle without restrictions
  • CPR certified or ability to be certified
  • Able to operate a forklift

Physical Requirements

  • Stand: Remaining on one's feet in an upright position
  • Walking: Moving about on foot
  • Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling) in excess of 100lbs routinely
  • Carrying: Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder
  • Pushing: Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force
  • Pulling: Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force (includes jerking)
  • Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps. Body agility is emphasized
  • Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching
  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
  • Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees
  • Crouching: Bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine
  • Crawling: Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet
  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
  • Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands; picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling
  • Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, or texture, by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or to the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds by ear
  • Vision: Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less
  • Far Vision: Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more
  • Depth Perception: Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are
  • Field of Vision: Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point
